Ankahi

If you've been living under a rock or something, you need to get hold of this great new
program called Ankahi. It airs weekdays on SAMAA TV from 10-11PM, and is hosted by Faisal Qureshi (of Loose-Ends fame) - a humble and down-to-earth fellow (surprisingly for a media man). Do check it out!

What surprises me is that I'm remembered for "Loose Ends" and not Dawn. But it also reassures me on my decision to have made the move from Dawn to Ankahi. Thank you very much for writing about the show.

With regards

-Faisal Qureshi

@FQ
I've watched you on DAWN a couple of times but frankly Loose Ends is in a league of its own and was definitely the kind of program I love to watch. Thumbs up for Ankahi! Long may it continue. Nice of you to drop by btw :).

Looks nice, thanks for sharing...I hope we can get it here in North America via satellite. Isn't Ankahi also an old TV drama from Pakistan? I seem to remember something from way back when...

@umairsalam
Yes it has a popular namesake from the old days. This one's more serious though. If you don't get it on TV, you can always catch the videos on their site.
